Where is the event being held?

The NSW Touch Junior State Cup Northern Conference will be held at the Lady Cutler Sporting Precinct which is located along the Macquarie River on the south of the LH Ford Bridge.

Where is the closest parking?

Secured event parking is located on Tamworth Street and can be accessed from the north bound lane of Macquarie Street. The event parking is being coordinated by local not-for-profit organisation, LeaderLife who are dedicated to growing our Dubbo community by helping kids doing it tough to live their best life. LeaderLife do whatever it takes to make sure kids having a hard time have a sense of belonging, independence for their decisions, are learning new skills and opportunities to give back to the community. The car parking is $5 per car per day and must be pre booked online via 123Tix

Is there disabled parking and access available?

Disabled car parking is available at the Lady Cutler Sporting Precinct and can be accessed at the Bligh and Bultje Street intersection. Disabled Parking Permit must be displayed in the car windscreen and the individual associated with the permit must be in the vehicle to be given access.

Is there a drop off area?

There is a designated drop off zone along Macquarie Street at the top of Bligh Street for anyone wishing to drop off players or equipment. There is no parking in this area, it is strictly drop off and go only.

How do I access car parking if I have a NSW Touch Car Parking Pass?

Cars that have a NSW Touch Car Parking pass must have the pass stuck to the windscreen of their car and must access the allocated parking via the Bligh and Bultje Street intersection.

Are there accessible toilets on site?

The Lady Cutler Sporting Precinct has accessible toilets located across the four ovals which make up the precinct. Accessible toilets are available to the North of the Lady Cutler Amenities building, within the Pavans amenities building and also at Lady Cutler East and South Amenities.

Is there food and drinks available?

The Dubbo Touch Association are running the canteens at both amenities’ buildings with hot food options including bacon and egg rolls, sausage and steak sandwiches as well as sandwiches and salad bowls. They have plenty of cold drinks too! Grab a snack or lunch at the fields to support this local touch club.

A number of local food vendors will also be on site providing a wide variety of options for food, drink and cold snacks.

Is there free water available on site?

There are three water monster stations that are provided by Dubbo Regional Council to refill your water bottles for free around the grounds. You can find them located at amenities buildings and near the under 10s fields.

Choose to refill rather than send your bottle to landfill.

Can I purchase ice at the event?

Dubbo Touch is taking pre-orders for bags of ice that will be available for collection from the Lady Cutler fields ice container. Ice bags are $5 and can be paid for using cash or card on pick up on the day.

Dubbo Touch will have a good supply of ice if you require more throughout the weekend.

What is the weather going to be like?

The weather in Dubbo in February is likely to be quite warm and therefore participants and spectators are strongly encouraged to support sun safe practices. The Lady Cutler Sporting Precinct does have some natural tree shade particularly on Lady Cutler South however affiliates and individuals are encourage to arrange their own marquees and shade structures.

Misting stations will be set up throughout the Lady Cutler Sporting Precinct to offer spots for participants and spectators to cool down during the event.

When you finish playing to cool off enjoy a visit to the Dubbo Aquatic Leisure Centre. Entry is free for players.

I still need accommodation - is anything available?

Individuals still needing assistance with accommodation can reach out to the Dubbo Visitor Information Centre via this link or call 02 6801 4450.

The Centre will assist in connecting individuals or families that register with the link to accommodation options suitable to their requirements.

Is there an information tent at the event?

Our Visitor Information Centre Team will be on site with plenty of information about the Dubbo Region, Visitor Guides and the local low down on things to see, do and explore. Make sure you pay them a visit as they will have some fun freebies and a competition to enter and win a holiday package! You can also pick up a piece of Dubbo Region merch from the information tent to remember your awesome visit to the Dubbo Region.
