About this event

20 April - 11 August 2024

The Bald Archy Prize, is a comic portrait competition established to satirise similar art competitions, becoming the main event of the Festival of Fun. The Bald Archy Prize has grown to become one of the leading events on the Australian Art’s calendar, achieving an international profile and touring to both regional and capital city venues.

These irreverent, provocative and highly accessible caricatures of Australians who had been newsworthy during that year are now held permanently by the Museum of the Riverina. The Best of the Bald Archy Prize is a survey exhibitions features past winners, depicting famous Australians who were topical during the year.
