Wellington Rotary Dag Drags Sheep Dash

The Wellington Rotary Dag Drags Sheep Dash 2025 is set to be a larger version of the event that was held on the Saturday afternoon of the 2024 Vintage Fair.

This family-friendly fun day will feature the thrilling sheep dashes, lively markets, a variety of food stalls, and a bar. There will be plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained, including the opportunity to participate in the "Name the Sheep" competition for just $2.00 per entry. Additionally, there will be fun rides, including a train ride, to enjoy throughout the day.

We’re expecting our regular market vendors, along with some fantastic food stalls, to ensure no one goes hungry. The bar will be open from 11am until closing at 6pm.

Join us for this exciting event on Sunday 13 April 2025. Gates will open at 10am, and the first race will begin at 11am. There will be a gold coin entry for adults, with free parking available at the Showground Racecourse. Don’t miss out on the fun – come along and enjoy a day of entertainment for the whole family!
