Massive artificial reefs. Mirror clouds. Zombie mice.
Beaches where there were none.
A world without aeroplanes.
A lonely frog.
Invigoratingly honest and unexpectedly funny, Scenes from the Climate Era boldly tackles the climate conversation—past, present, and future.
With an ensemble of five, this fast-paced new work moves through over 50 short scenes in just 80 minutes. Each scene feels like a spin of the bottle, offering a fresh perspective on the climate era, sparking new ideas and reflections.
Jam-packed with insight, humanity, and truths (along with a few untruths), it never wags a finger or preaches, instead invites dialogue across generations.
In keeping with Belvoir’s commitment to reducing emissions, this production is an example of how the arts can adapt to a changing world. It’s a night of theatre designed not just to entertain but to stir thoughts and conversations that resonate long after the lights dim.
