Open Rehearsal $35.00
Open Dress Rehersal Only
Please note that early access was offered to the children’s families, so they did not miss out on seeing them perform. Due to popular demand, we have released an additional Open Rehearsal experience at 4.00pm on Saturday 28 September. This behind-the-scenes experience will offer audiences the opportunity to observe the children’s final rehearsal and may include brief pauses as we refine the works.
Riversong 2024: The Spirit of Water
Join us for a glorious performance of singing, dancing and drumming as Moorambilla Voices presents Riversong 2024: The Spirit of Water, the third in a four-year cycle of new works inspired by the land and its communities.
This year’s program takes inspiration from Moorambilla’s 2024 Artistic & Cultural Immersion to Mutawintji National Park, led by the legendary Barkantji Visual Artist Badger Bates.
This performance is a powerful interpretation of our shared love of and connection to this awe-inspiring Country, and in particular this year, the underground water system and energy, from Mutawintj through to the sculptures at Dandry Gorge.
In the spirit of Yindyamarra, where we collectively commit to walking together with inclusion and respect, we look forward to sharing this very special collection of works, performed by over 280 children and youth from the region.
For more details, please visit Moorambilla’s website, and for a taste of what is to come in our gala concert, please take a few minutes to watch Moorambilla’s 2023 short film – The Shape of Water.
