We welcome women to come as you are and enjoy some relaxation, care, and connection for women of all ages and stages.
Come for the day or spend an hour.
- Take a moment to prioritise self-care in The Moment Lounge.
- Listen to experts answer the curly questions in women's physical and mental health
- Enjoy a nourishing lunch
- Let the kids run around or play at the toy library
- Connect with health, well-being, social, and community services
- Connect with each other in fun, relaxing spaces.
2025 Program
- 10:00 am Opening Celebration The day begins with a Welcome to Country, some cake and a little fun.
- 10:30 am – 11:30 am Panel 1: Full Stop! A fun and informative Q&A panel addressing all aspects of periods at every age and stage.
- 11:30 am – 12:30 pm Lunch Under the Trees Enjoy a free nutritious lunch with entertainment and time to connect.
- 1:00 pm – 1:30 pm Panel 2: The good, the bad, and the best. The physical health of our privates and what we need to know about intimacy.
- 2.00 pm Festival Ends.
Festival Zones
Social Quarter
This welcoming, open area with grass and trees will act as the communal space for the whole day. Chairs and tables, mats for the ground, and a toy library area will be set up. Entertainment and activities will occur here, and service providers and social groups will also be present.
The Moment Lounge
Located in the Black Box Theatre, this space dressed spa/retreat-like, with plants and soft furnishings, will play on a rotation of short films demonstrating how easy it can be to take a moment for self-care during the day.
For as little as 10 minutes, women will experience the benefits of mindfulness, positive messaging, breath work, meditation, and other methods for self-care, emotional regulation and well-being.
The Hub
This indoor space will have a relaxed vibe and access all kinds of information. The information will be presented in an informal/non-confrontational yet informative way and include but not limited to:
Health, nutrition, financial guidance, family planning, counselling, legal resources, social groups, mental health, and well-being, services, and support for women at risk, grief counselling, parenting resources, menopause and other physical transitions, and caregiver resources, e.g. caring for elderly parents, neurodivergent or disabled family members.
Mum’s Corner
A child-friendly space with a toy library for the children, comfortable chairs and opportunities for mums to enjoy everything the day offers.
