Whether you are keen to walk, wheel or run, we have something for you at the Dubbo Stampede! 5.3km, 10km, half and full marathon.
You can run competitively or walk with friends and family and enjoy the Zoo.
We are a World Athletics certified course so if you need a qualifying time for another event, we have you covered.
What do you get? A finishing medal, drink bottle, prizes, give aways, free recovery tent with tasty snacks, coffee cart, music, free massage tent, free entry to the Zoo to explore on the Saturday and Sunday for those competing and a great day out!
Each year we donate to a local cause. This year by joining our event you are supporting 'Sing Out' Dementia Choir right here in Dubbo.
We are the oldest major running festival running through a Zoo in NSW. Walk or run through Dubbo's Taronga Western Plains Zoo to get a taste of the wild.
We've got animals! Thousands of them. Hundreds of species. Lemurs, giraffes, hippos, lions, apes, spider monkeys (the cute little ones), rhinos... you get the idea. Come along and check them out!
