About this event

Join Craig Tibbitts, Senior Historian from the Military History Section at the Australian War Memorial for his Anzac Day Morning Talk, Troubled Homecoming: Australia's Vietnam Veterans and legacies of the war. The Anzac Day Morning Talk will be held at 7:00am at the WPCC auditorium following Dubbo Dawn Service. Craig Tibbitts will present a 45-50 minute free public talk on the Australian Veterans of the Vietnam War, the challenges they faced readjusting to civilian life and also the medical legacies they continued to suffer, from either illness, injury or wounds, the latter being either physical or mental.

Craig has worked at the Australian War Memorial since 2000, initially as an archivist in the Research Centre and since 2016 with the Military History Section where he is now a Senior Historian.
