Your best mate doesn’t have to miss out on the fun in the Dubbo Region with some of our major attractions being pet friendly.
- The Old Dubbo Gaol is pet friendly (on a leash), you and your companion are welcome to wander the grounds and uncover the eerie secrets of Dubbo’s harrowing history.
- Tracker Riley Cycleway and walking path is a favourite among visitors and locals looking to stretch their legs and get a dose of sunshine. Dogs are welcome on a leash and you will love soaking up the peaceful riverside atmosphere.
- For those seeking a longer stroll, you can even follow the cycleway all the way to Dundullimal Homestead where your furry friends are welcome to explore the expansive grassy grounds (on a leash)

While some of our attractions are unable to welcome domestic pets on site, Dubbo and Wellington have options for boarding or doggy daycare while you enjoy a day out.
Publicly accessible dog washing facilities are available across from the Dubbo Visitor Information Centre.
