Fun Fact!
This artwork was created after an EOI was issued through the Creative Assembly Central NSW group. All entries were voted on and local artist Gillian Pedrana’s Sugar Glider being the selected artwork for this year’s colouring in.
The design features indigenous local fauna with a Christmas twist and the centrepiece character is a Sugar Glider, a species local to Dubbo and sadly listed as a threatened species.
Does the Sugar Glider look familiar? You will find Gillian’s original sugar glider on the mural of threatened species of flora and fauna found at the Dubbo Visitor Information Centre (commissioned by NSW DPI).
Congratulations to all the winners!
