Adventure to an underground world at the Wellington Caves

Get ready for an adventure to an underground world at the Wellington Caves. Guided tours are offered daily through two magnificent show caves, the Cathedral and Gaden caves. Be amazed by 15m tall crystal formations and intricate cave corals. Or don your hard hat and take a step back in time on the Phosphate and Fossil tour, exploring a 100-year old mine and uncovering megafauna fossils that roamed the earth one million years ago. Open 9.00am – 4.30pm, check tour time schedules.

Head to the heart of town and put your feet up as you enjoy a peaceful picnic in Cameron Park. With plentiful leafy trees providing generous shade and the unique sunken gardens to explore - there is nowhere better to relax after your busy morning.
