Get ready for an adventure to an underground world at the Wellington Caves. Guided tours are offered daily through two magnificent show caves, the Cathedral and Gaden caves. Be amazed by 15m tall crystal formations and intricate cave corals. Or don your hard hat and take a step back in time on the Phosphate and Fossil tour, exploring a 100-year old mine and uncovering megafauna fossils that roamed the earth one million years ago. Situated on the doorstep of Wellington (NSW) the mountainous 2,123ha Mount Arthur Reserve offers scenic viewpoints as well as picnicking, bushwalking, horse riding and bike riding opportunities. The Reserve is managed by local volunteers.
