The Biodiversity Garden showcases local native plant communities. The Sensory Garden is an invigorating experience engaging smell, sight, sound, touch and taste. Oasis Valley exhibits dry rainforest species demonstrating how our local bushland evolved from the cool forests of Gondwanaland.

Let your kids go wild at the Dubbo Adventure Playground and explore around 40 play elements. Soar on the flying fox, speed down the giant slide and fly high on the basket swing! With BBQs, toilets and accessible elements including a wheelchair friendly Liberty Swing, plus a senior’s fitness area this is the ultimate playground for all ages and abilities.

Cool off with an afternoon of spring or summer family fun at the Dubbo Aquatic Leisure Centre. Little hands and feet will make a splash in the children’s leisure pool, and the whole family will love the water slides and enormous tipping bucket in the interactive splash pad. Bigger kids can take on the giant twin waterslide or catch up on some laps in the Olympic size swimming pool. Open seven days September to March.
