About this event

Holi, also referred to as the Festival of Colours, is celebrated across the length and breadth of the Indian subcontinent. The festival is also a very significant event in the life of the people of subcontinent heritage residing in various parts of the world. Holi is celebrated to signify the new start in life by ridding oneself of past errors by forgiving and starting fresh in life like the spring season!

Holi brings together individuals from various backgrounds to rejoice in unity, love, and happiness! Our Holi festivities are designed to encourage cultural diversity and cultivate community cohesion. We would like to inform you that Orana Gujarati Samaj NSW is extending an invitation to everyone to partake in the Holi Milan celebrations on Saturday, 23rd March 2024. The event will feature free entertaining activities for children, a live DJ and Dhol (Indian Drum), and colour powders available through gold coin donations. Food stalls will also be set up for your convenience.
