After the death of Erik Satie, dozens of unsent love letters were found in his Paris apartment. Composer Elena Kats-Chernin and pianist Tamara-Anna Cislowska send those letters off in a series of piano miniatures inspired by Satie’s extraordinary life and music. In this intimate tête-a-tête with the composer and her long-time collaborator, Kats-Chernin and Cislowska perform from their recent chart-topping album, Unsent Love Letters: Meditations on the music of Erik Satie.

Internationally acknowledged and awarded, composer Elena Kats-Chernin attracts commissions from the world’s leading orchestras, festivals, opera, ballet, and theatre companies. Popular Classic FM presenter, Tamara-Anna Cislowska is one of Australia’s foremost pianists, winner of national and international awards including the 2015 ARIA for Best Classical Album. Unsent Love Letters is a delightful musical memoir from one composer to another, from the Uzbekistan-born Australian to the French eccentric.
