Originally from Dubbo, Campbell Diamond is an internationally award-winning classical guitarist and graduate of the ANU School of Music, where he studied with the renowned Tim Kain. He began his guitar studies at Macquarie Conservatorium and continued with video lessons through Riverina Conservatorium. He is currently completing postgraduate studies in Cologne at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz with Hubert Käppel, and has also studied at the Koblenz International Guitar Academy. Campbell has won first prizes at six of the world’s most prestigious international guitar competitions held in Germany, Italy, Portugal and Greece. He has given concerts across Europe, South America, Japan and Australia, and has just released his debut CD, Prelude. His concert in Dubbo features music by Tarrega, Brouwer, Paganini.
