Andrew Barton "Banjo" Paterson, was an Australian bush poet, journalist and author. He wrote many ballads and poems about Australian life, focusing particularly on the rural and outback areas. Paterson's most notable poems include Waltzing Matilda, The Man From Snowy River and Clancy Of The Overflow. The Banjo Paterson - More Than A Poet Exhibition in Yeoval displays a priceless collection of original Paterson poems, letters and memorabilia telling the story of the many professions and activities undertaken in his lifetime. Enjoy a Devonshire Tea or light lunch in Clancy's Café. The Museum will be open during the Banjo Paterson Australian Poetry Festival 17-24 February 2019 from 9am to 3pm.
