Experience the amazing choirs of Moorambilla Voices as they celebrate 13 splendid years in the iconic Moorambilla gala concert. This 80-minute concert will leave you mesmerised and uplifted.

Feel first-hand the power of the Japanese Taiko drums and listen to the beauty of the angelic voices of the Moorambilla Regional Girls and Boys Choir and the MAXed OUT Company as they are joined on stage by International Taiko percussionist, Anton Lock and a magnificent Chamber Orchestra. Led by Founder and Artistic Director Michelle Leonard OAM, sound artist Roger Lock, Visual Artist Geneive Huard and choreographer Jacob Williams have collaborated to bring these concerts to the stage to celebrate the beauty and capacity of the region. The stories and landscape of Byrock Water Holes and Brewarrina Fish Traps are brought to life through the magnificent choral music, dynamic dance and powerful percussion, with musical pieces written by leading and emerging Australian composers Chance, Barker, Howes, Walker and Gibson.

Led by Artistic Director and Founder Michelle Leonard OAM, this year’s concert also features digital, visual and sound artists from the region and beyond, giving the 2018 performance a truly contemporary edge. Magnificent fire sculptures and lanterns under the night sky in Victoria Park after the 7pm concerts on Friday and Saturday evening are an event not to be missed! Be prepared to be amazed by the passion and creativity of this region’s children and youth. This is Moorambilla Voices 2018!
