Zoo Adventures is a school holiday program for students attending primary school, aged from 5-12years, which is run by qualified teachers.

Children experience the sights and sounds of the zoo; join in with art/craft and other activities with an animal theme!

Adventures

Who Killed Kermit… A frog has disappeared from the Education Centre pond! Come along and follow the clues to see if you can discover what has happened. We will meet the other frogs, play froggy games and froggy craft.

Junior Keeper Walk in the footsteps of a Zookeeper! Go on a behind the scenes tour, help prepare animal food, and take home a special photo.

Monkey Business The zoo is home to monkeys, apes and lots of lemurs. Come and meet them and make some special treats for them to eat.  We will play monkey games and make a little monkey for you to take home

Wet ‘n’ Wild We will visit those water loving animals of the zoo and make a treat for the fun-loving Otters. But beware – we might get a little wet during some wet ‘n’ wild games! We will also see what we can catch lurking in the lake.

African Safari Elephants! Giraffes! Lions! The zoo has many African animals and we will meet up with them as we go on a bus ride. We will make a special treat for the meerkats and visit them at their manor. Create your own African craft to take home.
