Interest continues to strongly increase in the $60,000 Visitor Campaign with the launch of a television campaign promoting Dubbo hitting screens on Sunday 25th August. The campaign is collaboratively funded by nine local businesses, Destination NSW and Inland NSW Tourism under the Regional Tourism Partnership Program.

Targeted towards travellers with children, the suite of four 30-second advertisements promotes Dubbo’s visitor experience to the Hunter, Illawarra, Central-West and New England regions. Airing throughout the month of September the advertisements encourage viewers to travel to Dubbo this spring and take advantage of almost 20 special offers.

The television campaign is strongly supported by online activity through Prime7, the website, Google Adwords and Facebook Advertising along with additional social media activity.

The collaborative approach to promoting the campaign has resulted in over 3,650 visits to date on the special offers page of, with over 81 referrals from the Dubbo Visitors Information Centre to the Visitor Campaign and over 230 Dubbo information packs sent out to potential visitors.
