This event was met with great support from the public, almost 200 people filled the seats of the Dubbo Regional Theatre. Just over 80% of people who registered for the event were from the Dubbo City area, and 17% of registrations came from the region including, Wellington, Peak Hill, Gilgandra and Cobar.

Three key-note speakers presented on the night to help guide you through the many opportunities available through property investment. Each with their own speciality in relation residential property investment, they are also available to take individual questions at the end of the session through a panel Q&A.

Margaret Lomas is the host of two weekly property investment shows on Skynews Business Channel 602; 'Your money your call and 'Property success with Margaret Lomas' which she creates and produces. Margaret regularly travels Australia summing up the potential of the investing landscape for her popular 'Town spotlight' where she explores the hotspots property investors need to know about. 

Margaret is the best-selling author of 7 Property Investment books, including titles such as:'How to create an income for life' and '20 must ask questions for every property investor'.  She has also released her latest book 'investing in the right property now!' - a book packed with the latest investing guidelines.

In addition to being the Founder and Director of Destiny Financial Solutions, a company which has assisted property investors across Australia for more than 15 years, Margaret is the Chair of the Property Investment Professionals Australia (PIPA) and Director of the REINSW.

Margaret is a past Telstra NSW Business Woman of the Year and Westpac Business Owner of the Year, and her company was a recipient of the Australian Business Award for Best Value.

Margaret is a qualified financial adviser and investment property adviser; she is Senior Associate with FINSIA – the Financial Services Institute of Australasia - and regularly presents seminars around Australia to new and experienced property investors.

 

Rod Crowfoot

 Having spent 19 years in the industry, Rod has a terrific grounding for a long and healthy property career. Rods knowledge of the Dubbo property market and real estate in general often sees him engaged to speak at various events and forums, he maintains his role as chair of the Real Estate Institute of NSW – Orana Division, is a member of the Commercial Agents Chapter and chair of the Business Agents Chapter. The work undertaken on a local level, from lobbying government for changes for the consumer through to organizing charity Golf days has been well recognized by the Institute.

One of the many things Rod is passionate about is his community involvement. He holds roles on a number of not for profit boards in our city and is actively involved in seeing these organizations grow and provide important services to our community. Over the last few years, new opportunities have arisen and to see them come to fruition and help local families and businesses is well worth the effort.

Under the direction of Rod Crowfoot, Ray White Commercial Dubbo provide management, leasing and selling services for our clients’ assets in a timely and efficient manner. Rod is a licensed Real Estate Agent, Stock & Station Agent and Business agent, holds a Cert IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD). 

There are exciting developments on our city’s horizon which we hope will drive population growth and hence the provision of services and facilities.
