In an Australian first, seven of NSW’s leading regional cities have united to form the Evocities campaign and encourage people to live, work and invest in an Evocity. The seven Evocities are Albury, Armidale, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Tamworth and Wagga Wagga. Each of the seven cities has dedicated resources and funding to the campaign, and has in turn secured Australian Government funding, as well as support from the NSW State Government and corporate sponsors.
The Evocity name was coined because the cities are centres of Energy, Vision and Opportunity. The main objective of the campaign is to encourage capital city residents to make the move to an Evocity and invest in the opportunities the cities have to offer. Moving to an Evocity is not a sea change, not a tree change but a CITY CHANGE. more »

Evocities campaign update
We all know that Dubbo is a great place to live, work, play and invest – that’s why we live here! But the Evocities campaign has been spreading the word, particularly to our metropolitan cousins.
The campaign which is now in its second year has seen approximately 182 people move to Dubbo, the Dubbo Visitors Information Centre has received well over 1000 new resident enquiries and 130 employers have taken advantage of the Dubbo Jobs website to capture new employees.
Dubbo’s success has a lot to do with the preparation of the Marketing Communications Branch of Council. While many of the other cities were developing their websites and information packs to complement Evocities, Dubbo was already well equipped to deal with the campaign.
Dubbo boasts the most successful relocation to enquiry ratio of all the seven Evocities. This success has been put down to both the quality of information provided by Dubbo City Council and the personalised responses to our Evocity enquiries.
Overall evocities.com.au has received 283,212 visitors. While evojobs.com.au has received 1,160,000 visitors which is a 200% growth since 2011. Over 20,000 jobs have been advertised on evojobs.com.au with 7,786 applications lodged.
Evocities has received 2,238 media placements and reached an audience over 60,000,000 which has resulted in 2,684 relocation enquiries lodged via the Evocentral system and 2,115 relocations to an Evocity.
