Dubbo welcomes the Australasian Road Rescue Championships from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 July 2019. Players, officials and spectators will converge on Dubbo Showground for four days of competition. 

The event is expected to attract 300 personnel from emergency services agencies drawn from Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and, even, England. The event will comprise of a symposium and rescue demonstrations including medical and technical personnel from Fire and Rescue, Police, SES and VRA.

Members of the community are welcomed and encouraged to come along to the Dubbo Showground to watch the teams of 6 compete for the titles. Open to the public the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the event.


Getting to Dubbo is easy. Fly direct from Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, or Brisbane; or catch the XPT from Sydney arriving and departing Dubbo daily.
