Dubbo is a 45-minute flight from Sydney

Dubbo can be a short 45 minute flight* following departure from Sydney Airport. Dubbo is serviced daily by two airlines, QantasLink and Regional Express and as from 20 July 2015, JetGo will service the Brisbane/Dubbo route.

The Dubbo City  Regional Airport  is a short 7km from Dubbo's CBD and the Artland's venues.

On arrival at Dubbo City Regional Airport you can collect a hire car from a choice of five hire car companies or arrange a taxi to be ready to collect you from the arrivals lounge (an in-flight service provided by both airlines).   The taxi fare between the Airport and Dubbo's CBD is approximately $20.

BY ROAD: 

Dubbo is located in the heart of NSW on the junction of 3 highways 

Mitchell Highway which reaches from Sydney in the east  and Broken Hill in the west

Golden Highway bringing travelers from Newcastle and the Hunter

Newell Highway, where Dubbo is ideally located half way between Brisbane and Melbourne

BY RAIL:  

Sydney/Dubbo/Sydney - every day  

 

A relaxing journey can be enjoyed via NSWTrainLink’s daily service into Dubbo. Departing Central Station early in the morning and stopping at various stations along the Western route, the XPT arrives in Dubbo at 2pm each day.  Delegates can return to Sydney via its daily Dubbo/Central Station service.
